NEC FC have officially announced the signing of Uganda Cranes striker Fahad Bayo on a two-year contract, completing a move that had been reported earlier.
The experienced forward returns to the Uganda Premier League with NEC FC after gaining valuable experience across several foreign leagues. Bayo has previously featured in Czech Republic, Israel, Zambia, Ethiopia and North Macedonia, building a career that has seen him compete in different football environments.
The striker is no stranger to Ugandan football. Before embarking on his international career, Bayo played for Proline FC and Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League, where his performances helped establish him as one of the country's notable attacking talents.
His experience at both club and international level is expected to add significant quality and competition to NEC FC's attacking department. As a Uganda Cranes international, Bayo also brings valuable experience from representing the national team on the continental and international stage.
The two-year agreement gives NEC FC an experienced option up front as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
