FUFA Big League side FC CATDA have strengthened their squad with the signing of defender Trevor Kalule, who joins the club from Lukuli FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Kalule arrives at CATDA with valuable experience from the Ssaza Cup, having served as Kyadondo Ssaza captain. The defender has also previously captained Buvuma Ssaza, highlighting his leadership experience both on and off the pitch.
The move represents another important addition to CATDA's squad as the club prepares for the new FUFA Big League campaign. Kalule's defensive qualities, leadership and experience in competitive regional football are expected to add depth to the team.
Before making the switch, Kalule was part of the Lukuli FC setup, where he continued to develop his reputation as a dependable defender. His experience leading Kyadondo and Buvuma provides CATDA with a player familiar with responsibility and pressure.
Kalule becomes the third player officially announced by FC CATDA in their recent recruitment drive. The club had previously confirmed the arrivals of Michael Kimera and Ronal Ssali, as CATDA continues to build its squad for the 2026/27 FUFA Big League season.
With the new campaign getting underway, CATDA will be hoping their latest additions can make an immediate impact as they compete in one of Uganda's key national football divisions.
Kalule's arrival adds both defensive strength and leadership to a CATDA side looking to make its mark in the 2026/27 FUFA Big League.
