Uganda Police Football Club are set to strengthen their defensive ranks with the signing of experienced right-back Nicholas Wadada, who is reportedly joining the club on a two-year contract.
Wadada has been a free agent since leaving Vipers SC, where he enjoyed a successful spell and established himself as one of the most experienced defenders in Ugandan football.
The move to Police FC will provide the veteran full-back with a new challenge as he looks to continue his career at the top level of Ugandan football. His experience, defensive discipline and ability to contribute going forward could prove valuable to the Cops as they prepare for the new season.
Wadada's arrival also adds significant experience to the Police FC squad, particularly in the defensive department. Having featured in high-pressure domestic and continental matches throughout his career, the defender brings valuable leadership and tactical awareness.
The reported two-year deal is expected to give Wadada an opportunity to establish himself as an important part of the Police FC setup while helping the club compete for domestic honours.
His departure from Vipers SC marked the end of another chapter in a career that has seen him become one of Uganda's recognised full-backs. Now, the experienced defender is set to begin a fresh chapter with Police FC, subject to the completion of the formalities surrounding the transfer.
