Kigezi Homeboyz have strengthened their squad with the signing of promising offensive midfielder Osman Mayanja from Buganda Regional League side Masaka City FC.
Mayanja has agreed to a two-year contract with the Kigezi-based club as he takes another step forward in his developing football career.
The young midfielder arrives with valuable experience from both regional league football and the popular Masaza Cup, where he has represented Mawokota and Bugerere.
Known for his attacking qualities and ability to operate in advanced midfield positions, Mayanja is expected to add creativity and energy to Kigezi Homeboyz's midfield as the club looks to build a competitive squad.
The move also continues a footballing family connection. Osman is the younger brother of former KCCA FC forward Abu Mayanja, who has since moved to the United States.
With his experience at Masaka City FC and exposure through the Masaza Cup, the young Mayanja will now be hoping to make a strong impression at Kigezi Homeboyz and establish himself at a higher level of Ugandan football.
His two-year agreement provides him with an opportunity to develop further while contributing to Kigezi Homeboyz's ambitions in the coming seasons.
