Ugandan forward Resty Kobusobozi has officially been unveiled by Tanzanian side Yanga Princesses, completing her move from Lady Doves FC on a two-year contract.
Kobusobozi becomes the fourth Ugandan player to join Yanga Princesses in the club’s latest recruitment drive, following the arrivals of Sumaya Komuntale, goalkeeper Molly Naava Nabitaka and Joan Nabirye.
The move marks an important new chapter in the career of Kobusobozi, who leaves Lady Doves after an impressive spell that established her as one of the most prolific forwards in the FUFA Women Super League.
Kobusobozi arrives at Yanga Princesses with an outstanding scoring reputation, having finished the 2024/25 FUFA Women Super League season as the league’s leading scorer.
The Lady Doves forward finished the campaign at the top of the scoring charts with 18 goals, underlining her consistency and finishing ability throughout the season.
